VRIJWILLIGERS
Dongoro-Ba is een klein dorp in het oostelijke deel van Gambia met ongeveer 1500 inwoners.
Er is een lagere school die in 1982 werd opgericht door middel van gemeenschapsparticipatie.
Er is ook een gezondheidscentrum dat in 2012 door de gemeenschap is opgericht. Het gezondheidscentrum heeft ook een arbeidsafdeling.
Het dorp heeft een gemeenschappelijke moestuin waar de vrouwen van het dorp werken en inkomen voor hen genereren.
Vrijwilligers van over de hele wereld die diensten willen aanbieden in gemeenschapsgerichte participatie zijn welkom.
Als je een gepensioneerde werknemer bent, een universitair diploma hebt behaald, een vrijwilliger bent of stage loopt en in een ontwikkelingsland in Afrika wilt werken, dan is dit iets voor jou.

ONDERWIJS
Als uw vakgebied onderwijs is, dan is het aan u om les te geven op de plaatselijke school. Geniet van het spelen met de kinderen in of na school.
LANDBOUW
Heeft u op school landbouw/tuinbouw gestudeerd? Of gewoon een hobby voor jou? Hier ligt een kans om levens in Afrika te veranderen. Werk met de vrouwen en leer ze moderne landbouwtechnieken in de gemeenschappelijke moestuin. Of werk met boeren op hun pinda-sesam- of coos-coos-boerderijen.
GEMEENSCHAPPELIJK GEZONDHEIDSCENTRUM
Bent u een gepensioneerde arts, verpleegkundige of gewoon een gezondheidswerker? Studeer je geneeskunde aan de universiteit of ben je net afgestudeerd?
In Dongoro-Ba hebben we een gemeenschapsgezondheidscentrum waar je als vrijwilliger kunt werken.
Het dorp zorgt gratis voor accommodatie.

Dongoro-Ba is a small village in the eastern part of Gambia with a population of about 1500 inhabitants.
There is a junior school which was established in 1982 by through community participation.
There is also a health centre established in 2012 by the community. The health center has a labour ward also.
The village also has a community vegetable garden where the women of the village works and brings income for them.
Volunteers from all over the world who wants to offer service in Community based participation are welcome.
If you are a retired worker, or a University graduate, or a volunteer or on an internship and wants to work in a developing country in Africa this is for you.

EDUCATION
If your field of study is in education then this is for you to teach in the local school. Enjoy playing with the kids in or after school.
